Last year a funeral, now a wedding. Collectief Het Paradijs delves into the world of an absurd wedding party where it is quickly forgotten who is actually getting married. A world of sweating dancing individuals unfolds, craving for quick love, lack of consent and the boundless attention that only a bride and groom ever get.
Due to the obsession with their own ego and a flood of sexy influencers and Onlyfans content, these people no longer know what is normal. All of this at a non-stop party after a wedding, as a metaphor for our hopeless romantic view of vain love, for ourselves. Because can you stuff yourself so full of your own ego that you vomit out your own misplacedness?
The Wedding is an energetic, physical performance in which five self-married people try to force a little charity down their throats.
